GHANA TRIP RECAP

Family and friends — I just want to take a moment to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for your prayers, encouragement, and financial support as I traveled to Ghana on this life-changing mission trip.

Because of your generosity and love, I was able to be the hands and feet of Jesus in ways that deeply impacted my heart and the lives of others.

We arrived in Accra, Ghana on March 6th, which just so happened to be Ghana’s Independence Day — a powerful moment of divine alignment since our church’s theme this year is FREEDOM! It was such a confirmation that God had gone before us.

Here’s a quick recap of the trip:

🗓️ Days 1 & 2: Our team immersed ourselves in the vibrant communities of Accra, extending invitations to the upcoming Ghana Day celebration. Beyond the invitations, we engaged in heartfelt conversations, shared the Gospel, and offered prayers to those in need. Witnessing the openness and receptivity of the people was truly inspiring.

🙏🏾 Day 3 (Sunday): We celebrated with Cedar Mountain Chapel Church, and it was absolutely beautiful. The church even gifted us with traditional outfits so we could fully participate in the service and cultural celebration. Worshiping alongside our Ghanaian brothers and sisters was a moment I’ll never forget.

🏥 Days 4-6: We traveled to the village of Sege for three powerful days of ministry. Our team partnered with local doctors for a medical outreach, played games with children, and shared the Gospel. I personally got to share Jesus with nearly 100 kids, and most of them raised their hands to receive Him. We also visited two local schools where we hosted kids’ programs. One of my favorite moments was making balloon and paper crowns to help remind the children that they are royalty — children of the Most High God. 👑

🌄 Day 7: We had the opportunity to explore some of Ghana’s beautiful sights. We toured local attractions, climbed a small mountain, and did a high ropes trail (I walked over 19,000 steps that day!). It was a fun and reflective way to close out such a powerful trip.

None of this would have been possible without YOU.

Your support helped plant seeds of faith, bring healing, and speak life into the next generation — and I’m forever grateful. God truly showed up and showed out in Ghana!

🇬🇭 With love and gratitude,
Shar
