Sharlene Provilus is a poet, author, speaker, and multidisciplinary artist whose work explores identity, belonging, faith, and the transformative power of story.

Shaped by her own journey through foster care, adoption, and redemption, she creates work that invites people to find hope, embrace their voice, and live with courage and authenticity.

Known for her compelling storytelling, creative teaching, and spoken-word performances, Shar blends poetry, rhythm, and biblical truth to create experiences that move audiences beyond inspiration toward meaningful reflection and action. She has shared her work with thousands across churches, colleges, conferences, and community organizations throughout the United States.

Shar is the Founder and CEO of Write Speak Inspire™, LLC, the creative company behind her educational programs, speaking engagements, and original resources. Her signature program, Paper to Performance, equips emerging writers, poets, and storytellers with the tools to transform lived experience into meaningful written and spoken work.

Her work extends beyond the stage through writing, music, media, and creative conversations that encourage people to build from a place of purpose rather than performance. As the host of Uncommon Creators & Founders, she explores the stories, ideas, and journeys of people who are courageously building meaningful lives and creative work.

She is currently building a body of artistic work rooted in poetry, story, and lived experience; creating educational tools that help others develop and share their voices; and using media, books, and live experiences to amplify uncommon creators, founders, and stories of belonging.
